Since 2019

About Help Nations

Help Nations was conceived by Jenna Silva, a visionary driven by compassion. Founded in September 2019, our mission began as Jenna’s dream to spread kindness and resources globally, uplifting those in poverty. Despite Jenna’s untimely passing from cancer before seeing her vision fully realized, her spirit and dedication continue to inspire our work. Help Nations commits to providing essential resources like safe water, food, and clothing, alongside supporting orphanages and community clean-ups.

Through these efforts, we strive to create a lasting circle of aid and hope. Our initial project in San Andres, Colombia in March 2025, supported by the Founder’s Fund, exemplifies our dedication to Jenna’s legacy, ensuring that her dream thrives and expands to meet the evolving needs of communities worldwide.

The Board of Directors meets quarterly to review ongoing projects and approve new initiatives. Special meetings may also be convened as needed to address specific issues or opportunities.

Why is the initial Fundraising goal for the “Founders Fund” set to $100,000?

The initial funding goal of $100,000 for the Founder’s Fund is strategically set to launch substantial projects while also ensuring the long-term operability of our nonprofit. This amount allows us to undertake significant initiatives that can make a real difference in the communities we serve, such as our upcoming project in San Andres, Colombia.

More importantly, setting this initial goal allows us to invest a portion of these funds. Our investment strategy is designed to grow the fund’s value over time, which ensures that Help Nations can continue to operate and expand its impact far into the future. By investing wisely, we aim to create a sustainable financial base that will allow us to continue Jenna Silva’s vision and extend our outreach without needing to rely solely on continuous external fundraising.

This approach not only honors Jenna’s legacy but also embeds financial sustainability into the fabric of our operations, helping us to remain a resilient and effective force in the fight against global poverty.
